What role do hospitality and technology play in the success of frictionless near future travel ? With Ed Bastian as it’s CEO, Delta is focusing on reducing stress while adding convenience, comfort and enjoyment to the customer experience. To convey this near future scenario and the interconnected technologies to life for its customers, we designed a booth experience demonstrating the power of collaboration between Delta’s innovation partners and underlying technologies. “Travel has become an essential part of our lives, and CES is the perfect stage to show the world how technology and innovation – combined with the best employees on the planet – will transform the future travel experience for customers across all points of the journey,” CEO Ed Bastian The fluid experience invited attendees on a typical journey from one’s home all the way to a hotel in Tokyo or Paris, showing how Delta is implementing it’s partnerships and investments.

A typical attendee journey would mimic the airline customer journey while showcasing trailblazing consumer innovations impacting the future of air travel and how underlying operational systems work with each of the partner’s products as unique activations! Flight attendants greeted guests, inviting them to experience the promise of smooth travel powered by the partnership with Lyft, hands on investment in Sarcos Robotocs and the utility of the mesmerizing Parallel Reality screens.
