   Architectural Projection Mapping

Can the container become the canvas?..  and can it be projection mapped to exude the emotions of an incredibly rich film collection?

The Cinémathèque Française holds one of the largest archives of films, movie documents and film-related objects in the world.

Frank Gehry’s postmodern facade provided a signature ‘warped’ surface for video projection during a private event and opening of one of their illustrious shows.

Through a moving collage of animation and film edits, our concept was to reference the use of the building through the suggestion of physical film artefacts while also bringing a lightness and ephemeral quality to the
building and the event itself.
